A practical reminder
Keepsake is designed to help with memories, not replace your own backup plan. Please store important photos and videos separately, too.
How we think about it
Depending on how you use Keepsake, this may include account and contact details; the photos, videos, stories, and other media you upload; associated information such as dates, file details, captions, and location metadata when included; and technical and usage information such as device, browser, log, and feature-use data. If paid features become available, payment information may be handled by the platform payment processors used to complete the transaction.
We may use this information to provide and secure Keepsake, organize memories, create requested AI-assisted features, provide support, communicate about the service, improve how the product works, prevent misuse, and comply with legal obligations.
To offer memory organization and creative features, Keepsake may process uploaded media and related metadata with automated tools and AI services. This processing is intended to help identify dates, moments, themes, and draft content. It can make mistakes, so you should review outputs before sharing or printing them. We will continue to refine the services and safeguards used as Keepsake develops.
We may share information with service providers and processors that help us run, host, secure, support, or improve Keepsake; when required for legal, safety, fraud-prevention, or rights-protection reasons; or when you ask us to share it, such as through a family sharing feature. We do not use this policy to make broader promises about data practices beyond the services we actually operate.
We keep information for as long as reasonably needed to operate Keepsake, meet the purposes described here, resolve disputes, comply with law, and maintain appropriate records. You may request account or content deletion by contacting team@keepsake-5r3.madethis.app. Some information may remain for a limited time in backups, security records, or where retention is legally required.
We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards designed to protect information. No service, storage system, or transmission method is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security. Please use a strong, unique password and notify us if you suspect unauthorized access.
Keepsake is for parents, guardians, and other adults managing family memories. It is not directed to children acting on their own. If you upload media featuring a child or another person, you are responsible for making sure you have the appropriate authority and consent to do so.
If you use Keepsake from outside the country where our service providers process information, your information may be transferred to and processed in other locations. Those locations may have data-protection laws that differ from the laws where you live.
